Andrew is an experienced musician and music teacher. He is very popular amongst his guitar and ukulele students throughout Cork placing an emphasis on learning through fun he creates a positive environment through which his students become proficient in their chosen instrument.

Andrew holds a 1st class Honours Degree and Masters in music from UCC. He was awarded the Staf Gebruers annual memorial prize for excellence in music.  As a professional musician and guitarist, Andrew has over 25 years playing experience with various bands and ensembles. He enjoys playing a range of musical genres from classical and jazz to folk, rock, country and pop. Proficient in the guitar, ukulele and banjo he also enjoys playing bass, piano and mandolin and Indian sitar.

Andrew is extensively involved in community music programs across County Cork. He is musical director of the Ukes go Bere festival and also works as a Music tutor for Music Generation, and various adult and children education projects. Andrew has been involved with the Cork Academy of Music since 2006 and currently is the coordinator of the LTI 4 program teaching music theory, ensemble and guitar.
